Alison grew up in San Francisco and was able to dabble in a variety of different activities before attending college at the University of California, San Diego earning a B.S. in Cognitive Science, Neuroscience with a minor in Human Development.

In school, she was able to organize a student-led conference with keynote speakers, research presentations, and interactive demonstrations. She also worked in two research labs focusing on Autism Spectrum Disorder and Epilepsy using EEG and fMRI metrics, respectively.

After college, she has been able to continue to refine and enhance and optimize her organizational talent by working for successful tech, fitness, and eCommerce based companies.
